DAY
1:
Saigon - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Can Tho
The characteristic of the Mekong Delta is rives life. The daily
activities of local people are associated on the Mekong Delta
with the boat as the main means of transportation. After arrival
in Cai Be, a boat will take you to floating market busy with
sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from
their boats. Then our boats continue to the maze of shady canals
passing the countless fruits, stop at local orchard to enjoy
tropical seasonal fruits. Taking this tour we will also enjoy
riding bicycles and roaming through the village, visiting the
daily activities of locals who make products (rice paper, Crispy
vermicelli …). After a short stop at Vinh Long city a bus trip
transfer us to Cai Von and wonderful boat trip glides us to Can
Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
DAY 2:
Can Tho - Cai Rang -
Chau Doc
Early in the
morning, a boat will take us cruising to the most busiest
floating market of the Mekong River Delta: Cai Rang Floating
Market. Hundreds of vessels gather here to trade all kinds of
fruit from neighboring fertile farms. Next we will walk through
the village to visit a rice-husking mill and a rice noodles
marking shop. Then a bus will take us to Chau Doc. Over night in
Chau Doc.
DAY 3 :
Chau Doc - Sa Dec - Sai Gon
Early morning
Breakfast by the Sunrise at Chau Doc busy floating market. And
then visit Carven pagoda then the local rowing boats to the
floating village and floating fish farms. The village of Cham,
an Islamic minority people in Vietnam where the home of Cham
weavers and the local mosque. After that, the beautiful cruise
boat will take you to Sa Dec. The most enjoyable time and relax
to take the sun bath. From here we get back to Saigon by bus.
Tour ends around 9:00 PM.
